DJ Development - The Deep End (Demo Set) This is a special Deep Minimal Tech House set I put together just recently.

DJ Development - "Captured" - NEW SET!!! This progressive house/trance set may take a while to really set in. The beginning uses a seemingly out of place mix to starts off asking the question, "Why?" A question that resonates from the voices of the inquisitive, capturing us at a very young age, and inevitably embodying both our mind and soul as we mature. Quickly, though, the set moves into some deep, melodic beats, and as the first hour builds, the tracks draw on different passions arising from this scrupulous question. The second hour brings a faster tempo, yet still deep set. As the hour slowly climbs the BPM's to an anthem ending, it examines the epiphanic realization of how much the question really matters in the scheme of things and how different the answers are from person to person. Have you ever had any doubts?  About truth?  About faith?  How about how you feel?

How has it influenced others in your life?  How have their doubts affected you? 

Does doubt create doubt? 

Everyone has those moments…moments where you feel torn.  Where uncertainty seeps in and tries to splinter your soul.  It shrouds you in darkness. 

This set is to reassure…feeling these emotional toils and having these concerns are a normal part of our existence.  It is a part of being Mixed into a synonymous compilation of body and soul.  Our humanity relies on feeling, experiencing, pondering, and scaling; but in the end, it is not merely  eing human that defines us; the defining factor is our response to our struggles.  We already are a being.  We do not have to BE anything apart from who we already are.  Live, love, and be true to yourself!

DJ Development - "Radiologic" (Demo Set)

Here's a little synopsis from my birthday party the other day. With all the fun and socializing, I only got to play for a short bit. I am sure you will recognize some of the tracks, though.

DJ Development - "Release Me" (Demo Set) This is the new demo I put together for April. This one seems to leave the listener with more questions than answers. It starts off mellow and sustains that emotion well into the second half of the mix. Finally, it jumps far and fast, like relief from some kind of pent up emotions. Hence the title..."Release Me" Hope you enjoy!

DJ Development - "The Highway" (Demo Set) Here's an obscure mix to keep you going while on the highway, or any other journey you might be on. Enjoy!

DJ Development - "H2O" (Demo Set) A follow up to my demo set "The Highway"; H2O (The Highway 2.0), starts off with a mellow progressive/tech trance sound. The first hour uses some very emotion-felt tracks as a lead in to the second hour of some classic progressive trance club favorites. Hope you enjoy!

DJ Development - "Visions" (Demo Set) Mastered at the same time as Forjd, this was my follow up to my hypnotic trip mix, Bounty. I love mixes that take you on a musical journey. It's a high like no other.

DJ Development - "Recede" (Demo Set) There’s so much music and so little time to explore it. Still, I decided to finish off a lo-fi mix I was putting together a few months ago. Words cannot express how much I have missed putting mixes together but something tells me a mix can. For those of you itching for a progressive trance mix, expect one in late November but in the mean time…enjoy!

DJ Development - "Ambiance" (Demo Set) After a long search for inspiration, along came the latest progressive trance set, compiled in its entirety on the fly. It doesn't quite follow my traditional, gradual build up from a deeper sound to the eventual high energy release. Rather, this mix resembles walking in the sand, progressing and regressing until the final climax. It remimds me of the ups and downs we must endure as we patiently make our way through this life.

DJ Development - "The Dark Night Ahead" (Demo Set) This is a classic that took some deep minimal house and spiced it up a little.

DJ Development - "Smash It" (Demo Set)

There's nothing like a good house party with friends, old and new, some drinks, and a couple of decks.  This mix was inspired by the House Crawl we had in 2009.  Afterwards, Sam asked for a mix that he could jam to.  I told him I would "Smash It".  The first hour of this demo puts together some thrashy electro to get your blood pumpin' and finishes off with some thrashy house to really keep the energy alive.  Hope you enjoy the mix!

DJ Development - "Bounty" (Demo Set) - Available Upon Request Not something you're going to dance and party to after the club...this is actually my first true hypnotic progressive trance mix. With the war turning sour and the economy failing, this mix resonates of the hope and despair during Autumn's rich bounty and sudden emptiness. (Much similar to the social disarray of this time.) Still, during all this there exisits a primal instinct amongst mankind unwilling to reliquish their love for the cyclic journey of life. Back for a limited time by request, I present Bounty
